What Do You Think?

"Attitude is a

choice"

Is it? Or not?

Your thoughts?

  1. James tells us to "consider it pure joy" not really "feel" at first. I think attitude is a choice. We only have to make the decision once in a situation to have a good attitude, the rest is just the discipline to live it out.

  2. Seeing as how you can't choose what HAPPENS to you, I figure the only choice you DO have it how you will handle it (i.e. your attitude about it).

    So, yes, it's a choice. :)

  3. I think attitude is definitely a choice. I am always reminding myself (and my husband) about this. Any situation is what you make of it. You can make it good or bad depending on your attitude.....and the attitude you CHOOSE to have about whatever it is you are dealing with. I think satan really attacks people sometimes with their attitudes....sometimes it is just easier to be negative and much harder to stay positive....k, rambling here.....over and out.

  4. It is definitely a choice. We can not choose the way we feel or what happens to us...we can choose the way we respond thru the power of His Spirit at work within us :)

  5. yes it is a choice.

It kinda like by nature satan is going to through something at us and try to frustrate or make us angry. to be tempted is not a sin, but to give into temptation is. When we submit and do get angry and act in it, we are "choosing" to do it.

you can resist when temptation slaps you in the face and "choose" to resist it and be happy :)

we cant change what happens to us, but we CAN change how we respond to them :)

  7. It is totally a choice! How we handle things is also a way of showing Jesus in us. Great question!

  8. You cannot choose circumstance, only attitude.

  9. It's a choice. It is much easier choice when you allow the Holy Spirit to deal with your heart instead of trying to do it all out of your own will.
