  1. Have you read Turnaroundmom? It is a book. Can't remember the authors name. I read it last night at Barnes and Noble. It was good. It discusses the effects of growing up in an abusive home on family life and how to become a turnaroundmom. Not repeating the cycle. I should probably be emailing you this rather than leaving it in a comment because it has absolutely nothing to do with your post. But, you did ask if we have any questions! Ha!

Ok. so. This is my favorite quote from the book.

"We also create intensity to divert our attention from what really matters: the sometimes boring option of simply taking care of ourselves and our families."

    then this.

"But when we ask for help from others, put structure in our lives, and face life on life's terms, God really does "do For us what we cannot do for ourselves." He takes the routine of our days and strings those days together like pearls on a treasured necklace, helping us to turn one day at a time, our once hopeless lives into cherished family heirlooms that make a difference expecially for our children. "

Ok and this----"Becoming a TurnAroundMom----The one who says, THE INSANITY STOPS HERE!"

    ok. a couple more....ha ha

"I knew that to raise my chilrdren, I must First respect and raise myself----every day!"

"Starting right now, do your best not to rush yourself, or your children. RUSHING IS ABUSIVE!!!"

    ONE MORE!

"It's easier to change your attitude about your child than it is to change your child."
    AMEN!

It was such a good read!
    Highly recommend it!
