Happy Birthday Mom, Robin, Mimi!

[gallery columns="2"]

Wish her a happy birthday today!

Robin Meadows is special to so many people in so many ways. She is a wonderful wife, mother, mimi, friend, couselor and a devoted child of God. She is kind hearted but tells it like it is, she is spunky, silly and fun to be around, and she knows way more about this blogging thing than me! Her example of a christian woman overflows out of her heart and on to every person she comes in contact with. If you have met her, you know when I say that you do not come away untouched or unimpressed. She not only birthed 7 children--naturally, but she is mother to countless others in some capacity. She is one of the biggest tools God has used to make me the person I am today and I know all of my siblings would say the same.

Happy birthday Mom, Robin, Mimi! We're happy you were born ;)

How has Robin influenced your life?
Tell her happy birthday!

  1. What can I say except Wow! Robin has been the greatest blessing in my life. God has blessed me with someone who has truly completed me in everyway God intended soul mates to become one. I can remember at our wedding that the preacher said that we would sense each other when the other one would enter a room. We would know what the other is thinking just by a glance. He was so right. To be that close to someone and share life together is worth more than anything this world has to offer. Thank you Lord. Love you Robin.

  2. Well, I guess I just have an abounding love for the entire Meadows family! I love that I've had a connection with at least 1-2 of them at all times:) Robin is "mama Meadows". She offers encouragement, wisdom, and love on a daily basis. She's very down to earth and welcoming, but also has lots of knowledge behind that. She is an amazing woman.Happy Birthday, Robin!

  3. Are you kidding me? There isn't enough room on this blog for me to say how she has influenced me.

For one, she is a safe place for me to run to with things I'm dealing with. I need that. She listens, exhorts, directs and then smiles and hugs.

I love that she does not expect everyone to make the choices she makes and never, EVER makes them feel inferior or less Godly.

She's a hero to me. I only hope I can leave the legacy that she is leaving today.

I love me some Robin Meadows!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I may be one of the oldest and newest "Sisters" in your life. Remember we already had the discussion of mother and daughter and mathmatically it just didn't work. LOL

I am with Cindy, There isn't enough room on this blog or on a piece of paper to give you the props you deserve for the choices you have helped me make and the encouragement you have given me in the last year.

I love you Lady. Thank you so much for including me in your life. It is a precious gift that I will cherish forever. Who knew it would take God almost 40 years to find me a good family. He had y'all waiting for me and I never knew it.

I pray that I may at some point influence another woman/mother as positively as you have me. You are amazing!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Robin! You are a huge blessing to everyone who has the privilege of knowing you in any way, big or small. I just want to say 'thank you' for being willing to be used by the Lord. Hope your day is blessed!! I can't think of anyone who is
more deserving, after all you are Jon's mother-in-love!

    Love ya,
    Gwen

  7. Oh Robin, I can't even begin to say how much you mean to me. You are amazing and I always tell Joe when I need advice about something I'm calling "my Robin-Mom". In this short time I've known you you have shown me what it means to be a godly wife, mother, and friend. Even how to be a godly daughter, when I didn't feel like it! You always tell it like it is, and that makes me so thankful! Because even if its hard, I want to do it and not wallow in self-pity. You build me up every time I see you. You just let God work through you and I think that's the best thing we can do in this life. I love you Robin!

  9. A big DITTO on all of the above (oh, and Dirk's made me cry...I hope Andrew can say the same of me one day!). There isn't much I could say that hasn't already been said, except this: After MONTHS of giving me advice on guys and dating relationships, you 'accidentally' led me to the love of my life and I will be forever grateful to you for that.

I could not have CHOSEN a better mother-in-law. Truly. You are such a blessing and I love you like crazy.

  14. I've known Robin for, ohhhh about 5 months now. Here is what I know for sure:
    1) She is genuine. There is no pretense with her EVAH.
    2) She loves her family.
    3) Her intent, her motives toward others is pure.
    4) She wants what God wants...always.
    5) She is a friend of friends.

I feel a kindred with her. She always makes me feel like I'm important to her. And, I'd bet she makes everyone feel the same way.

Love her. Love her. Love Robin Meadows.

    Happy Birthday!
