You Version Bible Plan

If you clicked on this very outdated blog, it may be because you read the You Version Bible reading plan for moms.

I hope you find words of encouragement and hope from my life experiences. Additional devotional days will be coming in January.

Overwhelmed by my Blessings: Encouragement for Moms

You can also read another plan I wrote, Choices.

  2. Yes, Robin, that is exactly how I ended up on your blog. I am in the midst of part 3 in the Overwhelmed By My Blessings series and love them. Particularly the one I read today where you wrote about not making our children our mirror image, but the Father's. I scoured the internet, hoping to find more that you had written about being a mom and this concept, but could not find any more writings of yours :(
Thank you so much for helping me begin to see that there can be freedom in being a mom.

  5. Yes! Mrs. Meadows, please try to have this published in paperback! I would love to share these devotions with so many of my friends! Such wisdom that young mothers are so often lacking because of the lack of older mom's that still share. Everytime I finish one I think two things, I want to reread it and I want to share this with my mom friends! Thank you for being a mother who is sharing some of the wisdom God has given you. God bless!

  6. I, too, was trying to see if this was published. It’s wonderful! I would love to be able to reference back to the different daily devotionals in an easier format. Plus...it would be great to share with friends!!!

  9. Agreed with all comments above! Best devotions I’ve ever read! I am bad about sticking to consistent daily devotions. For the first time in a long time I’m emgaged and connected DAILY through your words of wisdom and relevant Bible texts from the Message version that accompany each devotion. I share this with everyone! Have you written any books? I will check out Choices in YouVersion also. Thank you for the impact you have on me as a mother.

  12. For me , the timing if this plan had to be God. I came across this before seeing it was for moms but continued to start the plan. As a father , it still was eye opening! Can't wait to share with my wife thank you so much and God bless

  14. I absolutely agree with everyone's comments! Being a stay at home mom of 4 little boys under the age of 6 can be overwhelming at times. The mom guilt I feel when it comes to wondering how I'm doing as a mom can be drowning! Your devotional was an on time Word directly from God and was very much needed! I look forward to reading more from you!

  15. I just started homeschooling my two boys and have a third boy who just turned a year old. I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed and happened upon your devotional without any previous knowledge that you are a homeschool mother of seven! God confirmed to me through your devotion that this is what he wants me to be doing. I feel like you read my journal and turned my thoughts and feelings into a devotional. Thank you for your encouraging and comforting words of wisdom. I appreciate them more than you probably know. Bless you!!!

  18. I just wanted to say that the timing of these devotionals could not have been more from God. I just gave birth to my second baby (a girl!) in October, and I have a 16 month old energetic son. I found these devotionals in the midst of struggles with post partum anxiety and learning how to balance two babies. Every day I read was as if God knew exactly what I was struggling with and spoke to my soul.
I also recommended this to my mother's group and several of the ladies there have also been blessed by these devotionals! Thank you for using your gifts to bless the kingdom!
