Apparently, I have a lot to say about being an overwhelmed mom. Find part 11 to the Overwhelmed by My Blessings YouVersion Bible reading plan here: Part 11
Thank you for these devotionals. I've enjoyed and benefitted from every single one! I too am a mom of several, although I've not been on the mommying journey as long as you have. My oldest is only 21. It was like you'd been looking in a little window of my home and my mind. So many of struggles and thoughts I have/had and you mention I have never seen addressed anywhere else. We must be kindred spirits. I've done many YouVersion devotionals and there are few that are as impressive and impactful to me as yours....although God's word never leaves one empty...your insights meet me where I am. Thank you for making your reflections and lessons available. I appreciate it. Thank you abundantly, Deirdre Van Amberg Greeneville, TN
Deirdre, Forgive me for being so late in seeing your message! Your words are great encourgement to me. I'm so glad you have enjoyed the devotionals. There is no doubt you can relate! ha!
I can't thank you enough for these devotions. It was like Christmas just now, discovering how many more you have added. I have read through your first 6 parts at least 6 times and part 6 about 4 times. Your devotions help me refocus, take deep breaths and be intentional in how I pray and how I treat my children (6,5,4,1 1/2).Thank you!!
I'm just seeing your response today! I'm so sorry I didn't reply before. Christmas! ha! I'm so glad you. are enjoying the devotionals—and yes! There are currently 11 weeks. You can also check out Choices, and Mary Was a Mom (speaking of Christmas).
Hang in there with those babes! You are in the trenches.
I have been so blessed by your YouVersion series. I was in a very dry time and desperately needed this. I’m just now on Part 6 and am thrilled there are more. It speaks to my soul. I’ve been struggling as a SAHM. I know I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids, but boy that blessing overwhelms me on a daily basis. Your studies have pointed me back towards Jesus, helping me to focus on and cry out to him. Thank you for sharing these. They were like a life preserver tossed out to me when I didn’t think I could tread water any longer.
I'm currently reading part 11 now! I was most of the way through my second reading of all 10 parts when I saw you uploaded part 11! These have been so so good for me and I look forward to my mornings being refreshed by your thoughts and renewed by my time spent in the Word. I've also enjoyed your Choices plan! I'm about halfway through that. Thank you for sharing your experiences and your knowledge!
Thanks Robin for writing this plan, though it really doesn't speak about my kids but my boss and work. It made me realise I haven't been so calm enough to hear what God's Spirit is saying to me especially in times when approval is denied for critical operational procurements. Being mindful of God's presence always is the greatest thing that can happen to any believer and this epistle has done just that. I thank God for your life and pray he continually bless your work and family. Thanks so much for publishing this. I am inspired.
