Resolutions? How about Revelations!

I’m not much on resolutions, but I love personal revelations.

Those “a-ha” moments where a light bulb clicks on from a scripture you read, or something you heard.  Something that changed you or your previous way of thinking.

Did you have any this year?

What rocked your world, knocked you upside the head, or just made your heart smile?  Do share!

John 6:63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

I seem to always be hit with the revelation that: it's not about me!!!

That's always a good one to remember...

Let's just say I was at a certain "Bible Study" and a certain "someone" managed to accurately "identify" the "root" of my delimma on a "particular issue..."

Thanks again.

Revelation... Let it go! It only took a few times around for me to catch on that I have to let things go and move on with life.
Oh, and that if I want to end up with a man worth marrying, I have to become a woman worth marrying.

I continue to have the revelation that ALL of me is not surrendered to Him.

And, I also came to the revelation that I can cook. Sometimes.

God knocked me upside the head when he led me to Edmond. My heart smiled when I was welcomed into the Meadows home with love and hugs. The whole experience in Oklahoma rocked my world. God showed me how real believer's live....Not just the people that go to church on Sunday but the people that live it.

Trust me y'all there refreshed me and made me just the happiest I had been in a long time.

But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. - Matthew 12:36

When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. - Proverbs 10:19

There is also another scripture, I think in Psalms that refers to our words being eternal----or having eternal ramifications. I'll have to look for it.

My "a-ha" this year was to be quiet, think before I speak, the less said the better. I can't take back my words. They are rememberd! God's ears are listening and so are my children!
