What Do You Think?

"The devil aims high."

Do you agree?

What does that statement mean to you?

  1. I agree that the devil aims high. If you aren't a follower of Jesus aren't you already his then? He doesn't have to work for you?

So my question back to you is... Is it reassuring when the Devil attacks us? Does it mean that our walk with Jesus is solid enough for us to be a challenge to the devil? Does it mean that he is aiming high to get us? Or is he just wasting his time messing with the small fish in the pond?

  2. I think that phrase means that Satan aims at people in positions of influence. Like pastors, teacher of the Word, fathers, mothers and even lay ministers who are making incredible impacts in the lives of many. If he can aim at those who influence many and take them out, then it's possible that many below them, those under the influence of the said individual, will fall, too.

    My two cents.

  3. Theresa and Cindy beat me to the punch. My comment was going to be a much shorter rendition of their 2 posts. I am lazy

  5. Of course he aims high. There's nothing worth aiming for down low. I love Cindy and Theresa's takes on it.
