And I was looking at this
When I should have been looking at this
And I did this
And this
It made me feel like this
even though Dirk assured me "things like that just happen", "those things can always be fixed". Note: I hit Dirk's truck!
There's a story in here somewhere about focusing on the wrong things...even the good things, and you see where it got me.
Oh, God, may our focus never be on anything but You.
I'm just glad I didn't back into this!
Ooo... girl that is GOOD!
ReplyDeleteOur husbands are alot alike. I ran into a pole sticking out at gymnicetics and scratched it ALL the way down the side of my NEW truck (I didn't think to STOP)! My husband said, "no problem!" I would have probably lost it if he had done it. :O)
Oh, I'm so sorry Robin! Halarious presentation, though.
ReplyDeleteYou're so creative! I needed to hear that today...
ReplyDeleteYou sure did bring a smile to my face. AND made me think, too.
ReplyDeleteSee you this afternoon!
I feel quite validated now... :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet husband=)
ReplyDeletebeen there, done that...twice
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find that last picture?! (the one BEFORE Dirk) Eww. Made me laugh, though. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad your warrior has such a great attitude!
As long as noone was hurt all the other stuff can be fixed. It happens
ReplyDeleteHaha! That's funny! Did you try to blame it on Jacob?
ReplyDeleteI asked Garrett if Jacob was late last night and he asked why and I showed this to him. He laughed and laughed. Boys sure do like poop.
ReplyDeleteawe mama meadows :) don't feel like poop! Like dad said, these things happen... That's why we have insurance :) but after you get a quote give me a call so I can tell you if you will be surcharged for it or not... And I love you! I saw that you had my name as Pirtle-Meadows! It made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest post. I am sorry about the dents but your husband is right. It is only a thing.
ReplyDelete"Oh, God, may our focus never be on anything but You." And if by chance I get dented when I lose focus thank you for repairing my dents. :)
So FUNNY! I'm sorry, that stinks. Don't beat yourself up.
ReplyDeleteOh My! When did that happen? Your lucky you got a reaction like that outta him. I don't think I would of been that lucky if I had done that!
ReplyDeleteOh, Mama Meadows...life is School!
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, creative...I like it!
Thanks, guys, for your sympathy and kind words.
ReplyDeleteAbbi-google images always comes through...it was pretty funny deciding what word to enter in the search box!
Kim - always happy to oblige! ; )
Katie-what are you saying? :)
Ali - happened last night when I was taking Kody to NW campus and meeting your dad for a motorcycle ride
Brittney-it was Dirk's truck I hit. The Meadows' carry only liability....I think that's one reason this hurts so badly...I'd much rather spend that $$ on something besides vehicle repairs!
awww...I'm sorry Robin!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it won't cost too much???
Have a better week,
Val
Don't worry! I've had plenty of damage done to my car. It always works out! Even when you feel like poop :)
ReplyDeleteI ran into a pole last year when we lived in a condo....tore up the whole front of my car. there is just something about running into things that AREN'T moving! I know a great bodyshop. Puckett's on Broadway in Edmond. Rodney Holt is cousins with the owner....BJ.
ReplyDeleteOh No! I'm glad you didn't back into Dirks bike either.
ReplyDeleteI loved your picture story.
Bikerwife--thanks for stopping by. Anna's car was recently repaired at Puckett's and they did a superb job! I won't be surprised if we use them.
ReplyDeleteValerie-thanks for your sweet words
Mandy-yeah, you know all about it.
Jayma--me too!!!
OH NO! What a sweet huby you have! I have done something similar more than once :)
