NEWS ON JON

Erin heard that Jon's unit is in Ireland tonight. Even the Marines must endure customs! And theirs takes about 8 hours.

They should be leaving for the USA at about 7:30 am our time and arriving in North Carolina about 5:30 pm. YAY!!

Thanks so much for your prayers.

I'll let you know when he arrives in Oklahoma!

  2. Just hours ago I watched my older brother, a USMC recruiter, load up two fine young men from my parents' congregation and get them set for boot camp.
I stood there with their mothers and family and started to think about the sacrifices made daily and in such large ways by the families of the Marines (I'm partial to Marines).
Reading this after today was a true blessing. Praise God for your son in law's safe return and your daughter's steadfastness!

I am so happy to have found you here. What a treat this post is to me!
