He Gives, and Gives, and Gives

I'm sick....blech...flu-like symptoms, but if you know me....I'm in denial. ; )

Today, enjoy this poem by Annie Flint, (1866-1932). Read more about this amazing woman's life here. Even though she endured a lifetime of hardships and pain, she knew Who she belonged to and knew the Truth that kept her through each day. May we have the same "knowing".

Acapulco, Mexico (picture taken by Robin)

He gives more grace when the burden grows greater,
He sends more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He adds His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When faith seems to fail and the day is only half gone,
When we come to the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

His love has no limit; His grace has no measure,
His power has no boundary known unto men,
For out of his infinite riches in Jesus, He gives, and gives, and gives again
